Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) legislation now applies in NT, VIC, WA, SA, NSW, QLD and the ACT. All suppliers of beverage containers (including Source Direct) invoice customers buying bottles (and cans) in NT, VIC, SA, NSW, QLD, WA and ACT the 10c refund cost plus a Government administrative levy (to manage the recycling process etc) of $0.04+gst ($0.06+ gst in SA only) per container (glass and pet bottles) and pay this cost back to the relevant CDS Scheme administrators each month. So please be aware that we will add $0.14+gst to every bottle purchase you make for delivery into NT, WA, VIC, NSW, QLD or the ACT (add $0.16+ gst for SA). CDS commenced in VIC in November 2023.
