I think at the end of the day people need to start being prepared to pay extra instead of bartering on price and check if that product is actually made here in Australia or not, because at the end of the day jobs count for the economy, and if you disagree then so be it, but I’ve been in the promotional and printing industry for nearly 20 years and we’ve seen trends come and go and now we have to experience a new trend of e-commerce and AI developing to be more automatic and take away all our customer service and locally made services. Why, why would we do this? Is everyone just trying to save a dollar at the moment? That’s not how we run our aussie businesses as an Australian person we do bulk deals. You know if that customer really wants something and they want a lot of it. We do bulk deals!
Have we lost our Australian spirit ? Are we just going to let ai take over our blue collar jobs, I mean if we don’t support Australian made products now then our Aussie team will sure be at a loss and keep losing, it will just get smaller and smaller and smaller until it doesn’t exist any more and like all the big guys – Ford, and Bonds as example they just manufacture overseas to save dollar. They all end up going overseas and manufacturing their products overseas because of cost, so let’s drive a new era.
